The Shun Classic Nakiri is a vegetable knife of the highest quality. Crafted with superior Damascus steel, it is designed to resist rust for many years. The Nakiri has a full tang blade, double-ground at 16 degrees for a razor-sharp edge. An asymmetrical bolster and a “D” Shaped handle provide a balanced and secure grip, while a black Pakkawood handle with waterproof resin ensures beauty and reliable performance.

- The blade is made from VG-10 high-carbon stainless steel, covered with sixteen layers of stainless steel alloy on each side, which gives it its distinctive rippled “Damascus” look.

- Ebony black pakkawood handles are resistant to moisture, and provide the user with a strong, stable grip.
- Handle is roughly “D” shaped, in order to fit comfortably in your hand.

Cleaning & Care
- Periodic sharpening is recommended to maintain the ultra-sharp edge of the blade.
- Use only with wooden cutting boards.
- Hand wash recommended.
- After washing, rinse thoroughly & dry with a towel.
